Isle I Do: Are you an Isle I Do Bride?

Are you an Isle I Do Bride?

The difference between an Isle I Do Bride and a regular bride

Photography by Keep It Local Foto
Honestly, you've been dreaming about this day for your entire life to hear them call you just "a participant". No way, this is YOUR day.

The most common definition of the word bride is "a female participant in her own marriage ceremony" (Boring!!). Honestly, you've been dreaming about this day for your entire life to hear them call you just "a participant". No way, this is YOUR day.

Although that description is just fine if you only want to be regular bride, an Isle I Do Bride is so much more.

Definition of an Isle I Do Bride

  • She's beautiful (with or without the gown/makeup)
  • She knows the rules of engagement before the aisle
  • She knows how to make an entrance
  • Is always ready for a photograph
  • Her wedding is not just a ceremony...it's a party
  • Definitely not a Bride-zilla
  • Her husband feels like he's the luckiest man on Earth
  • Single women want to get married by just being around her
  • She knows how to make an exit
  • Loves all the festivities but still can't wait to go home at last

So be creative, be gorgeous, but don't be a regular bride. Come on, let's ditch that dictionary-downplay because you're more than just a participant, you're an Isle I Do Bride.

Get a team of your most dependable friends together and network. Talk about everything, who do they know, how can they help, what can they do, this gets the ball rolling and sometimes you can get your biggest issues resolved right there. But, remember you and your fiancé are the project managers and you don’t need to comply with their every suggestion.
